Puerto Rican film director, producer, and screenwriter who is best recognized for his work on Charm City Kings, Blue Beetle and La Granja. In August 2023, he was profiled in an article for The Wrap about his upcoming work on the movie The Wrecking Crew.
During his youth, he was involved in soccer and boxing. He studied architecture, documentary filmmaking and writing. In 2004, he received his BFA in advertising from the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón.
In 2009, he released the short film 22weeks, which won the Bronze Telly Award in 2010. His films La Granja and El Púgil were nominated at film festivals, including the Chicago Latino Film Festival, the Miami Film Festival, and the Tribeca Film Festival.
His father was a car salesman and his mother was a flight attendant.
He worked alongside producers Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith, on his second feature film TWELVE.
